I Can Do That

My first childrens book, available now on Amazon.

I'm ecstatic to announce the release of my first book, 'I Can Do That' A little girl's day of big challenges.

I illustrated and wrote this book during the lockdown of 2021 and I can't think of a better way that I could have spent my time.

As the publication date drew near, I became both excited and nervous. Doubts crept in. Was there a market for my book? Was it good enough? Had I just wasted all that time? As if in answer to my worries, I began to receive 5 star reviews and even a book award! My confidence has grown and I'm now starting to plan my next book.

This time however, with my day job, it might take a lot longer to complete but at least I feel that I'm on the right track.

I Can Do That

I hope that this message is encouraging, not only for the munchkin in your life, but for yourself also.

When I first had the idea to write this book....the idea was overwhelming. I asked myself how could I possibly write, illustrate and self publish a real, honest to goodness book!

The answer was to simply.....try.

I've had to learn step by step, re-doing some of those steps (sometimes over and over) but I got there in the end. It may not be perfect, but the feedback has been so encouraging that I feel that I got it 'mostly right'
